Final Fantasy IV...again
So...anyone got the new Final Fantasy IV for Nintendo DS? Is it worth getting? FFIV is my second favorite Final Fantasy game, but having had and played it on a number of other systems, I'm kind of reluctant to buy it yet again. I mean, really...Square/Enix, why don't you put out new shit like World Ends With You instead of re-releasing countless old games? Sheesh.

It's not bad, but if you've played FFIII on it, then you'll know what to expect. It's been a good long while since I've played through IV, so I don't mind spending the money, but the 3D system takes it toll on the DS. I've lost count of the number of times I've put in improper commands though because the menus lag behind the button presses.

Think of FFIV as THE BIRD.

COME ON, GET THE BIRD!

I actually did buy it again, but then again, I never bought it in its original, most expensive incarnation, back when Square SNES carts were like $75.

Is the line "You spoony bard" in it? I only buy remakes of FFIV that contain that line of sheer awesomeness.

I believe I am on record as stating this is the one thing that this may be the only thing on earth that could make me buy a DS, since I will be unlikely to ever use it again.

THAT is why Square/Enix re-releases these things. TO VEX ME.

I was in the same boat and am now the owner of a DS -_-;;.

This was the game that pushed me over and made me buy a DS.
